Many young women choose the path of college, university, or community college before entering the workforce. This academic route opens several opportunities for graduates when they complete their program. However, there are several demands of these academic environments which may hurt mental health, including:
Feelings of inadequacy
Desire to overachieve
Competition instead of support
Anxiety around tests and other assessments
Social phobias and fears

Rather than letting these challenges overtake you, at Sol Mental Wellness we provide an opportunity for students to address these mental health issues while taking a temporary break from school or during a reduced courseload. By shifting time and energy to treating your mental health, you complete our program in a better position to thrive in your academic environment.
Several elements of our Student Support Program make it possible for female students to treat their mental health. Our flexible program hours allow you to come 3 or 5 days a week when not attending class. The supportive female community of young professionals highlights what a positive mental state can do in an academic setting.
To treat academic-induced stress and anxiety we offer holistic therapies like yoga, mindfulness meditation, breathwork, and soundbath. Finally, our case management team can help you with getting a leave of absence approved due to your mental health, so that you can return one semester in the future ready to acheive your academic goals.
